My father, the college english professor, is in his glory.

For years he's been bemoaning my entry into real estate and not a more academic route.  Now I tell him all the writing I do to populate the internet with relative real estate content, in the form of weekly blogs, and he can't be happier.

"You see, Fulton, writing is, and always will be, an integral part of communication.  Readers should know you through your writing, and through your writing, the passion for what you do should shine."

So write I must!

But you know, real estate sure has changed since the time I first entered the field.  Back then, armed with just my phone-in-a-bag, handy client referrence cards, and my hefty MLS listing catalog, I was ready for business.

Then, the computer came on line and the internet started evolving, and changes occured almost overnight.  Realtors lost control of the MLS listings as they became public domain searcheable by anyone on-line. And today, it's publish or perish!

My dad, the college professor, is a little more pleased with my real estate career, now.
