OK, just another reason to visit and ultimately buy a home in Utah.  This past weekend the resort town of Park City (just 30 minutes from Salt Lake City)again hosted the Visa Freestyle International World Cup which features freestyle aerials, mogul competition and ski half-pipe.  The Utah event was one stop in preparation for the FIS Freestyle Ski World Championships to be held in Inawashiro, Japan, in March.

About 300 athletes from two dozen countries competed for 3 days.  I am not a spectator; I would rather participate but what an event with fun dynamic energy!  General admission to all events were free even the street concert on Main Street in downtown Park City!  I had the opportunity to go to the final night, my favorite event Dual Moguls Competition.  I think I'm a pretty darn good skier until I see these people with young knees, they are incredible athletes!

Check out this video.  Please note that there aren't normally crashes like this but Deer Valley has the toughest course on the circuit!

This is just one of many outdoor events utah has to offer all year long!  For more information on the greater Salt Lake City Utah events, local happenings and real estate opportunities go to the Salt Lake City Utah Real Estate Resource Center at www.BuySaltLakeHomes.com of just fill out the form below:
