Here is some information on the tax credit for the Cherokee Georgia Real Estate area.

Many Cherokee Ga home buyers are having questions about it so I posted it here.

Currently the 7,500 tax credit has to be paid back over 15 years but in special circumstances the debt is forgiven.

The Senate currently passed a 15,000 tax credit that would not have to be repaid and would be available for all buyers.

However this new 15,000 tax credit would have to pass the House and be signed off on by the President so this bill may never become actual law it's still up in the air.
