Ellicott City Homes to Benefit From a Homebuyers Tax Credit Extension? By Ellicott City MD Real Estate Expert Kevin Larkin
News Alert!
Ellicott City Homes just got a possible boost when the Senate recently voted to extend the Homebuyer Tax Credit deadline through September 30, 2010 from it's current deadline of June 30, 2010 to complete closings that were under contract by the Tax Credit Deadline.
Is it a done deal? NO, NOT YET..... the Bill was added as part of a bill to pay for jobless benefits that now moves onto the House for possible approval.
As with every deal there's always the possibility of an Ellicott City Maryland home not settling on time and with homebuyers trying to take advantage of the Homebuyers Tax Credit the deadline is coming up quick.
Without this extension many people may lose this added benefit and deals may fall through unfortunately.
