Atlanta commercial real estate-Atlanta market still showing signs of weakness in real estate recovery
The 1st quarter of 2010 for Atlanta commercial real estate saw the Unemployment rate hovering at 9.8 percent.
Average office vacancy levels for the Metro Atlanta area were 19.8 percent and the average effective rent was $16.91.
Average retail vacancy levels for the Metro Atlanta area were 14.2 percent and the average effective rent was $15.02.
While some would say these numbers are very bad others would say they are very good. With vacancies high and rental prices low in the Atlanta commercial real estate market this means distressed deals are there for the taking for Atlanta commercial real estate buyers.
