So you are ready to buy your first house?  Your best friend from high school got his real estate license last week.  He works for a company where they pretty much just expect him to know everything.  Is this the best agent for you?  I don't want to knock new agents as you have to start somewhere and I was one once myself.  But many real estate companies don't focus on training that is needed to sell a home.   And if they do some training it mostly is for the agent to find people that want to sell or buy real estate.  There is a lot to think about and get right in a real estate transaction.  Including contracts, inspections, negotiation and much more.
