So you want to buy a home and get a great deal?

So you are looking to buy a house, maybe for an investment or maybe it's time to buy that first home or even time move up. How do to you find the deals? These days the first thought is FORECLOSURE. I want a free list of Foreclosures in Montrose Co. You can find a free list of pending foreclosures at the Montrose County Public Trustees office then click on the foreclosures link.

Now what you have is a list maybe 25-26 pages long of properties that have had a Notice of Election and Demand filed against them. That doesn't mean they will become a foreclosure. To buy one of these homes that makes it through the lengthily foreclosure process you need to be at the court house steps on the sale date with a cashiers check for the bid amount. Make sure you do your due diligence because there could be other liens on the property. The bid amount might even be greater than the current market value of the property.Sound complicated and confusing. YES it is. Very few properties are purchased on the court house steps for that reason. Only experienced and knowledgeable people with cash can realistically consider buying a home in Montrose Colorado this way.

So how can you buy a home and get a great deal? By working with local expert Steve Conklin who can help you understand the market and guide you through the buying process.
