The City of Portland has a great website ful of useful information.  Not only can we look up contact information for various departments and other routine things like that, but we can also look deeper into our own neighborhods.  By going to www.portlandonline.com/oni (just paste the link into your browser), you can find out what neighborhood association you live in, find out about local events, and even learn how to get involved in the community.  There is a great map of the official neighborhood districts available for download; it is amazing how many distinct neighborhoods we actualy have right here in Portland, one of the things I like best about the city.
