That is a shocking statistic to me.  That means that, on average, one house on every block has an owner who is having trouble making their payments.

What does this mean to you?  Foreclosure has many effects on the neighborhood; home values often decline, it can disrupt friendships when people have to move, and it is obviously detrimental to the families directly impacted by the foreclosure.  I believe that we need to do what we can to help.  Because of this, I have just completed training to become a Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE).  I have the training and tools available to help people try and avoid foreclosure.
