Canadian Inflation rate up in September

StatCanada's reported today that the annual inflation rate was 1.9% for September 2010 this up 0.2% from the prior month when it was 1.7%. The results are in line with economic expectations so this information is not expected to have a dramatic impact on financial markets.

Changes in housing and real estate prices have their own index and are not including in the figures reported today.
