The Pekin Real Estate market and specifically Tazewell County continues to be slightly off pace when compared to the same period in 2009. While interest rates continue to be extremely attractive, buyers are showing reluctancy to take the plunge into long-term debt commitments.

New Listings were down -22.3% from 256 to 199.
Closed Sales were down -14.65 from 137 to 117.
Average Sales Price was down -0.8% from $117,900 to $117,000.
Average days on the market was up +21.5% from 69 to 84.
Now that we are past the mid-terms elections, it will be interesting to see if the mood indeed changes and buyers get off the fence and take a fresh look at the real estate market.
