Myth #3-I should choose a Realtor® that has been in the real estate business the longest.

While a Realtor® in the Pekin Real Estate market may have some years and transactions under their belt, they may not automatically be the best choice for selling your home.

If the agent is using the same marketing techniques they used in the 80's and 90's, there is a good chance you need to keep interviewing. Buyers search for homes differently that they did in the past. The internet has changed the home shopping experience. Ask the Realtor® what they are doing differently that other Realtors® in your market and how are they going to address presenting your home on the internet.

While there is no exact science to marketing your home, you at least want to know that your home is being presented where the buyers are....on the internet.
