The Lake Carolina SC neighborhood YMCA says to get your running shoes on, Jingle Bell Style!

The Columbia SC community of Lake Carolina is the home of the 1st Annual Jingle Bell Run/Walk is scheduled for Saturday, December 11, 2010. The event will begin at 9:00 a.m. sharp in the parking lot of the Jeep Rogers Family YMCA located at 900 Lake Carolina Blvd.

Proceeds from the event will help fund the YMCA of Columbia’s Partners with Youth campaign lives by its mission to build strong kids, strong families and strong communities each day by never turning anyone away who cannot afford a YMCA program or Y-service. Each year, volunteers raise dollars from donors to make the YMCA dream a reality for thousands of young people and families. The Partners with Youth campaign provides direct program and financial assistance to families in the Columbia area.
