Fremont Police and Fire Department support Special Olympics Northern California
The Fremont Police Department is hosting a fundraising event, “Guns ‘n’ Hoses.” The event is a charity basketball game between the Fremont Police and Fire Department. This is the third charity basketball game the two Department's have worked together to organize. The Fremont Police Department won the first two games.
All proceeds from the event will benefit Special Olympics Northern California, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting understanding, acceptance, and inclusion between people with and without intellectual disabilities through year-round sports training and athletic competition.
The event will be held at Washington High School, located at 38442 Fremont Blvd., Fremont, California, on Saturday, April 16, 2011, at 6 p.m.
Tickets price is $5 and can be purchased at the following locations:
