As a Realtor® in the Pekin Real Estate market, I constantly stay abreast of the latest advertising ideas and concepts by other Real Estate Agents and Realtors®. What I am continually amazed at is the way in which these agents/realtors® go about their business.

Honestly, it usually sounds something like this. Me, me, me me me, me, me, did I tell you about me.

As a fellow Realtor®, I am often embrassed. While it might be nice to know where "I" went to college, how many children "I" have, "my" dog's name, "my" favorite food, "my" last vacation, where "I" live, how many units "I" sold last year, how much "I" spend on advertising, etc., etc., etc.

Shouldn't the message really be about "you" !

"You" are the one looking to sell your home...looking to buy a home...looking to get to the next goal, stage and destination in "your" life. Shouldn't the questions you ask them be directed at "what are they going to do to sell YOUR house...to find YOUR house" ?

So who is the "BEST" agent/realtor® for you ?

Is it the agent/realtor® that has 2 laptops, 3 iphones and an answering service....maybe ?

Is it the agent/realtor® that has 3 assistants....maybe ?

Is it the agent/realtor® that spends a zillion dollars on advertising...maybe ?

Is it the agent/realtor® that has the most listings in town because they discount commission rate...maybe ?

What it boils down to is that the only true thing an agent/realtor® has to offer is "SERVICE".
