The Canadian dollar closed the day on the foreign exchange market being worth 1.0294 American dollars or 1 US dollar being worth 0.9714 Canadian, this being a gain of 15 ponts. The Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) closed at 14012.97 down - 79.38 a loss of (-0.56%), The Dow Jones closed at 12214.38 up + 124.35 a gain of (+1.03%). Gold Closed in London up at 1426.25.
