Each year the Pekin Marigold Festival committee recognizes a local resident or couple who has given freely to the betterment of the Pekin community. The Pekin Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for grand marshall of the 2011 Pekin Marigold Festival. This chosen nominee will be asked to serve as the 2011 Grand Marshall.

The Marigold Festival comittee is seeking nominees who have demonstrated their passion and deeication by giving generously of their time and talent to a variety of charitable and community organizations and activities.

The nomination deadline is May 3. Nomination forms are availabel at the Pekin Chamber of Commerce, 402 Court Street.
