Salt Lake City, Utah now ranks 5th most active city in the country as reported by Men's Health Magazine.  Men's health rated 100 cities across the U.S. for the most sedentary and most active and the Salt Lake City lifestyle came out 5th from the top! 

They researched a number of factors to make this list.  They looked at where and how often people exercise (Experian Marketing Services); the percentage of households that watch more than 15 hours of cable a week and buy more than 11 video games a year (Mediamark Research); and the rate of deaths from deep-vein thrombosis, a condition linked to a lot of sitting (CDC). Since some people define "exercise" loosely, they gave credit for any physical activity in the past month (CDC).
