The timing of this article may be late for some sellers in The Victorville real estate market hopefully for others there may still be time. The prices of homes that are selling should be looked at carefully and noted… they are still headed down (that’s Down not up). I pose a simple question to all “want to be sellers” in this market (when prices are going down, that’s Down not up): Do you want to sell now at today’s market value price… or 6 months from now at a substantially lower price (remember, the markets going down, that’s Down not up)? Your answer to the question will determine the price you select to market your home at.
If you choose market value or higher you will still be on the market 6 months from now. (Not a good choice, if you want to sell, when prices are falling)
If you choose under market value, most likely you’ll see a sale within 45 days (you may not like the price you get today, although 6 months from now, you will know how very smart you were).
As you can see, you will have made the choice, not your agent…To sell…or not to sell
