Many of you may have filed insurance claims on your own when you noticed some damage to your properties roof from the hail storms this past through  this spring and summer.  That's what I did when I noticed there was damage to one of the roofs on one of my properties. I had it checked by the adjuster and the adjuster denied the claim. I then submitted photos of the damage by email to the adjuster and he said he would only give me $400 for the claim and I told him that was not acceptable when there was such obvious damage. 

I then located a contractor who specializes in hail storm claims and after he viewed the home and saw the damage he said lets call the insurance company and ask for a re inspection of the roof. He met the new adjuster at the home who was assigned to the claim for the re inspection and the contractor was able to get the roof approved, the garage building approved, out building, the awnings, were covered by the claim at no charge to me except for the deductible which we all have to pay. To date this roofing contractor has been able to get 7 of 7 of my properties with hail damage approved for new roofs.

If you think you have had hail damage I would highly recommend you give this contractor the opportunity to come inspect your property for damage since the inspection would be at no charge to you. It may be one of the best decisions you make this whole year with the storms that have come through this past spring and summer.
