Sales continue to improve.  Buyer activity , especially first time home buyers that are wanting to take advantage of the $8000.00 tax credit and low interest rates has brought an increase in home sales.  231 homes closed in March which is up 18% from Feb.  The average selling price for March was $121,960.  Currently there is an increase in sales of lower priced homes due to the first time home buyer incentive.  The list to sales price is still in the 94% to 96% range.  The current market absorption rate is 6.8 months for Warrick County and 9.8 months for Vanderburgh County.
