Vanderburgh County Market Update - 140 homes were sold in March.  That is down 21% from March 08 but up 6% from Feb. 09.  The average sales price for March 09 was $114,890.  That is actually up from 2008's average of $110,091.  The list to sell price was in the range of 94% - 96% of list price.  March 09 had 1369 homes for sale.  The March absorption rate was 6.8 months of inventory compared to 14.6 months back in Jan. 09.  Homes are selling!
