Well these are misleading ads and websites. They tell you the partial truth. You can sometimes buy a foreclosure for half price. The half price meaning half the price of what the home might have sold for 2-3 years ago. Not half of what a foreclosure is listed today.
As for the websites. A lot of them have outdated information or not correct information.
How do you find the best information for foreclosues? Especially in the Greeley Colorado Real Estate market?

That’s all you need to do. Most if not all foreclosures are listed by Realtors. Some banks don’t even want their foreclosures advertised as foreclosures, but there are ways to tell from the Multiple Listing Service that they are foreclosures.

REO means Real Estate Owned. It is kind of a silly term in my opinion. It means Real Estate Owned by the lender.
