Langley BC Real Estate -Langley City Adopts Downtown Revitalization Tax Exemption Program

Langley City Council, at its May 25, 2009 Regular Council Meeting, adopted a Revitalization Tax Exemption Bylaw to benefit commercial property owners within the Downtown Langley Business Improvement Area boundary.

Effective immediately, commercial property owners located within this area who are planning new improvements or alteration of an existing building, with a construction value greater than $100,000, can apply for a Municipal Property Value Tax Exemption for a period of five years.
