Apple Valley CA Real Estate Home Sales Fall in August - First Time Homebuyer Tax Credit is slipping away
Thursday September 24, 2009 Apple Valley CA – As reported this morning by the National Association of realtors: Existing home sales fell in August for the first time in five months. Ok…so when did you ever see a recovery go straight up or straight down there are always blips in the road. I can’t speak for the country as a whole but here in the High Desert there is no doubt that September and October will be back on track with increases (due in large part to the massive amount of closings in the pipeline that are taking advantage of the First Time Homebuyer Tax Credit).
With that all said and done set your sights on the first of November and what will really happen to the market when the incentives are gone or at least by that time it will be too late to get into contract and close escrow prior to December 1st when the First Time Homebuyer Tax Credit has expired.
If you’re thinking of taking advantage of the First Time Homebuyer Tax Credit you are running out of time. You may want to look at what you are up against in our article about the Perfect Real Estate Storm.
