As foreclosures grind away at families and individuals across the nation and here in Victorville CA one person has come up with a novel and yet practical idea that will most likely be overlooked as a seemingly sound approaches to this devastating housing problem.  Last October before the presidential election I had a novel idea and looking back on it today it would have been rock solid…oh well. 

Getting back to this new foreclosure idea: People with the means to do so, move up the housing ladder, trading smaller less expensive homes for larger ones that are perhaps even in a better neighborhood.  So why shouldn’t people who no longer can afford the house they live in be able to move back down the ladder, downsizing and replacing,  but not displacing , a family that is having money problems of its own?
