Wow!! Is really all I can say at the moment? We received a slice of what some of our Northern and Mid West neighbors usually get this time of year. Mother Nature bestowed upon us almost 7 inches of snow. Now this is the Southwest, the desert mind you, the last time that we had this much snow in a 24 hour period of time was back in 1974 where almost 9 inches of snow fell. In fact today the entire Henderson and Las Vegas Nevada school district were completely closed down A SNOW DAY for all the students and teachers. Well I'm going out and play in the snow with my kids for once I don't have to drive 3 hours to play in the snow, I'm just going out to my front yard.
