Customer satisfaction with lenders declines

satisfaction with lenders declinesIf there ever was a time to insure that your lender could do the job on time, it is now.  With many bank insisting on per-diems if you don’t close on time and multiple offers on homes for sale clouding the sales arena your lender need to be on top of the game otherwise you are the one that will pay the price.

Overall satisfaction among mortgage customers declined 18 index points to 739 in 2009 from 757 in 2008, according to the J.D. Power and Associates 2009 Primary Mortgage Origination Satisfaction Study.

The average time required to approve and close a loan increased to nearly 47 days in 2009, compared with approximately 30 days in 2008, primarily due to increased scrutiny of loan applications and higher origination volumes driven by increases in refinancing, according to the study.

If you don't have a lender we would be happy to recommend some that we personally know are honest on top of the ball and will have your best interest at heart...we know who the best lenders are, we work with them every day.
