It's not to late to get a good deal on a foreclosure homes.  This last week 13 newly listed foreclosure homes have hit the market.  One is already under contract.  From what I've been reading in the news and online there are more foreclosures on the way as well.  This last year there have been fewer foreclosure listings coming onto the market in the Greeley and Evans Colorado area.  Alot of this had to do with the banks and lenders not knowing what is going to happen next.  But the last couple of months there has been more foreclosure activity around the area.  Short sales are continuing to grow in inventory, but they are still somewhat hard for a person to buy in less then 2 months.  This is slowly changing though as the banks and lenders have finally started to realize that selling a home short is better for them then foreclosuing on a property.

If a foreclosure property is a good one it will be shown by an agent usually within the first 4 hours of listing.  If you don't have an agent that is looking out for you then you probably will miss a great deal!
