BURRELL BOOM, BELIZE DISTRICT
CATTLE AND CROPS
A 350 acre working farm with animals and
equipment.
The farm is located adjacent to Scotland Half
Moon Village which is west of the Northern Highway and close to Burrell Boom.
The property consists of 350 acres of land, of
which 200 acres are developed. This 200 acre area is fenced externally with
additional fences separating nine different pastures for cattle of horses.
There are approximately 124 orange trees, 74 lime, 76 grapefruit, 97 mango, 8
breadfruit, 26 tangerine, 5 golden plum, 10 sour sap, 42 cashew, 55 coconut.
There are also many pine, teak and palm trees. Crops and vegetables are currently being grown on the property
Current livestock includes 77 cows and 2
bulls; 186 sheep, of which 3 are DORPA rams for breeding; 2 horses; 80 chickens
and 2 ducks.
Across an all-year creek is the other 150
acres of property which is currently undeveloped.
Farm equipment includes: 1 back hoe with
front end loader; 2 John Deer tractors; 1 D6 Caterpillar Bulldozer; 1 double
axle trailer for animal transportation; 2 bush hogs; pickup; and other
ancillary equipment.
Located on the farm is are 2 small wooden houses; a 40’ x 40’ shed; a small cement block shed; and a modern trailer house complete with air condition and amenities.
